June 25th marked Avery's 7 month birthday, and what a month it's been!!
This last month has been one of changes, new experiences, and big milestones!
On June 1st we moved into our new apartment, literally 3 minutes away and up the street, but into a new ward. Avery now has a lot of new friends to meet!
Ave loves to eat puffs and is getting much better at picking them up herself. For awhile she would just lean over and eat them out of our hand like a bird! How she came up with that plan, we have no idea!
June 17th Avery had her final follow up with the neurologist and everything looks great! We weren't surprised, but it was still good to hear! And now we can really move forward!
She still growls all the time and can be quite the chatter box when she chooses.
Avery has nearly mastered the skill of sitting up. I would say she's mastered it except sometimes she still randomly falls over and bonks her head on the floor. But that doesn't happen very often.
On June 22nd Avery crawled for the first time! I was lucky enough to get it on video! Before that she had only gone two "steps" or whatever you call them. So this was the best she had done. And all she needed was the TV remote for motivation! Now she is crawling all over the place and our world has changed!! A few more bumps and bruises and a lot more keeping my eye on her at all times! Her crawling also means I can no longer exercise while she's awake.
We got around to buying Avery a crib and it finally arrived in the mail so Mitch set it up that night! Avery still finds her way into the corner and usually sleeps there.
Avery went swimming for the first time. We didn't take any pictures, and she was a little wary of it, but she held her head up and "floated" around on her tummy!
