Other Events in July

To finish off Mitch's long 4th of July break we went to the ward party and then had friends over for a last minute hot dog dinner. 

The next day we went to Iwo Jima Memorial to enjoy the sights. It was hot! But it was nice to get out and do something a little different. We tried to go swimming but our pool was closed. Instead we made a little pool on our porch for Avery. 

The month July of has been very hot and humid. We stay inside most days. But on occasion we'll have a nice day and get outside. Avery likes to wander away from me. I stay close but I also like to let her explore. She is also loves to explore inside and discover new toys and ways to play. I love when I am busy with something and she finds a way to play on her own! 

The only other update we have is that Avery happily goes to Nursery now! The Sunday after we got back from Washington we left her and she did great! I guess it helped that I spend the whole week trying to get her comfortable with being in a different room than me!
