On July 28th I flew with the kids to Kennewick for a summer visit. Unfortunately with Mitch being at a new job he wasn't able to join us. Lori's family picked us up and we headed right for Cocolalla. We love spending time with family and playing at Cocolalla!!
Eli rode on the boat for the first time and Avery rode of the tubes! I ended up just giving Andy permission to just pull her onto the tube. She cried a little and then he was fine and loved it! And then she wanted to take every turn. I don't know why she was so nervous, I new she would love it! I'm really proud of her for doing it.
On our trip we also got to visit Great Grandma and Great Grandpa. I love being able to see them any chance we get. There were a lot of kids in that little room but they loved it!
I also got a chance in Kennewick to visit Janae. I'm so happy to moved from Virginia to Kennewick so that I can see her family when I visit!
We were supposed to spend a week and half there and fly home on a Thursday night. But our flight continued to get delayed for some reason and it wasn't going to leave until after midnight! I was not about to do that with two kids. I went to the airport planning to change to the next flight, which was Sunday evening. But they were looking for two more volunteers! I ended up getting the flight changed to what I wanted along with $800 in vouchers! Worked out pretty perfectly. It just meant that we got home with only one day before Avery started school!
