Kennewick for a week

This Holiday season consists of a great deal of traveling for Mitch and I.

 The week before Thanksgiving Mitch traveled to Colorado Springs for work. For Thanksgiving we flew to Florida. Then the next week Mitch flew back to Colorado Springs and I flew to Kennewick. (With both of us having problems getting out of DC because of weather and plane issues.) And this week we'll head back to Seattle and then Kennewick for Christmas. Crazy month for us!!

I went to Kennewick to stay with Eliza and Talia and help out Lori and Darran for a few days while Lori is in the hospital. I'm happy I was able to go and be there for everyone involved. It was a huge help to have me there and even though it was difficult not being the fun aunt the whole time, I'm happy I got to spend time with the girls.

 First, the ice storm that delayed our travels.

 We did our annual Christmas Tree Decorating Party with everyone there. It was great!!

 Lori joined us through Skype.

 Can you tell the kids did a lot of the ball ornaments? We had to readjust some in the end!

 And Grandpa got crazy with the kids!
