National Harbor

Mitch and I decided to try to get out more and do things while we don't have a little one to carry around. (If you don't count me already carrying her around!)
We haven't exactly done a lot ... but we've tried! And we've had a few unexpected bumps in the road.

A few weekends ago we went mini golfing. It wasn't a very fancy place, and we didn't bring the camera. But it was fun to get out and do a different activity. We were shocked to think back and realize we had never been mini golfing together! How does that even happen?! But we had fun! And I totally kicked Mitch's butt! I believe I won by 9. Honestly, my putting abilities were a total fluke that night, but I'll take what I can get!!

The next weekend we decided to check out the National Harbor. It's a quick half hour drive away and it was a beautiful day. We had fun walking around and checking things out. Although it was a LOT hotter than we thought it was going to be.

They had a Peeps store ... it was pretty sweet! ;)
 And this ... statue? ...

Crushing the tiny farris wheel car!
 WA represented.
There were a bunch of stores, and a farmers market too. But it got really hot. So we drove over to the outlet stores and did a little shopping! We love getting out and doing things, it's just a matter of coming up with something to do ... and then following through with those plans! We're working on it.
