Baby's First Christmas

Merry Christmas!!!

We had a simple Christmas this year with our little family of three.

We set out cookies for Santa, put on Christmas jammies, and headed to bed (then got up a few times in the night to eat of course, but we decided not to open our presents at 2 am, even though it WAS Christmas!

As you can see, Avery LOVED her Christmas pajamas! They were my pajamas when I was born, and they were a little small for Avery. If a baby could have a wedgie, she would have! But the diaper prevented it, so instead it was just super tight!! Needless to say she didn't last long in them.

Avery helped open her first present! And then proceeded not to want to fall asleep. She was just so excited for Christmas morning! Eventually she did sleep for us while we finished opening our presents and Skyping with my parents.

That night my visiting teacher invited us over for dinner. Avery looked awesome in her Santa outfit!! Although she hated the hat! And everyone at dinner loved her. She also did wonderful for us and slept the whole time.

Avery also turned one month old on Christmas Day. Happy one month sweet cheeks!!
