Avery Hague Carter - 2 years

The day after Thanksgiving was Avery's 2nd birthday!
Our girl is getting so big and learning so much.

Height: 34.5 inches (64%)
Weight: 25 lbs 4 oz (48%)
HC: 19 inches (78%)
Teeth: 14

Avery is go go go all day long! She's running around from the time she wakes up to the time she goes to bed. Even when we put her to bed she continues to talk to herself for at least and hour or two every night.

Avery talks all the time. When I'm on the phone she imitates things I say. She's great at attempting any words we try to teach her. Sometimes she gets it, sometimes she's way off. But she loves to talk and talk loudly! Her most common phrase right now is "Where'd it go?" She says it over and over, really fast, all slurred together, and it's adorable. But she can't simply say it, she throws her hands out and has a quizzical look on her face too! She is learning to say prayers, asks for help, and finally says please (mease). Lately she has learned her colors and surprises us when she decides to count.

Avery still loves fruits and vegetables, and has been doing better with the main dish. We usually have to bribe her with more broccoli or green beans or orange to get her to eat more main dish. We know, not a bad problem to have! Along with eating healthy she also loves chocolate and anything sweet! She is her mother's daughter.

Avery is very opinionated. She always wants to choose what coat she wears and what pair of shoes we put on her. We try to stick with her first choice because she often changes her mind half way through getting ready to walk out the door.

Avery loves, loves, LOVES Winnie the Pooh and all that encompasses. She knows the names of all of the characters, is constantly playing with her Pooh Bear, loves to look at pictures of them, and loves any of the Winnie the Pooh movies. This is the biggest reason that we threw Avery a big Winnie the Pooh themed birthday party.

We love Avery so much! She is so full of energy and love! She is definitely a toddler and has plenty of moments when she throws a ridiculous tantrum. But for the most part she is really good and so sweet!
