I never thought we would live in California.
Things don't always go how I think.
After spending a little bit of time in Kennewick, on August 14th we packed the car and drove all together to CA! The first day we did a short distance and stayed the night with Dallin and Cassie. We are so thankful that they let us stay with them and it was fun for Avery to play with her cousins. We only wish she could have seen them more!
The next day we headed out for a LONG day of driving. We tried to keep Avery entertained with little toys, snacks, and lots of movies. She even slept some in her car seat which was a minor miracle. We drove all the say to the San Francisco area and stayed at Mitch's Aunt Linda's house. We are also very grateful to them for letting us stay there!
We continued our journey the next day and made it to San Marcos, CA where we stayed with Jared and Danielle for awhile. We are especially grateful to them for letting us stay at their house for so long while we found a place to live! We certainly have a lot of loving and generous family members!!
We saw a lot on our drive but mostly from the car. I don't remember a lot of what we saw. We were trying to get to our destination as quickly as possible without driving me and Avery crazy in the car! It was not an easy trip being about 33 weeks pregnant.
On August 16th we finally arrived and it felt so good!!
