Year 4 was full of a lot of new experiences for Avery.
She made wonderful friends in Virginia and participated in her first dance class. She got practice being a big sister before learning that she was going to have a baby brother! Then she had to say goodbye to the only life she's ever known and move across the country to San Diego. She gradually became more independent and more outgoing. She welcomed her little brother with excited open arms and embraced her new life with enthusiasm. It's been a tough year, but one full of new adventures.
On November 17th we had an early birthday party with some new friends from church. It was just some cupcakes and playing at the park but Avery enjoyed it. Then on her birthday we celebrated with family. Both sets of grandparents got to be there so that made the day a little more special.
