We are taking advantage of this summer while we're still close enough to drive home to visit family.
This month we visited the Carter's!
We drove up to Idaho Falls to visit Grandpa and Grandma Carter.
Then we drove to Olympia to spend a few days with Mitch's family.
It was SO nice to get away from work and studying for a week!
Much thanks to our family for making the vacation totally worth it!
We had fun with Dave and Lindsay and their kids!
Sophia making me pizza. She warmed up to us after a day. Such a cutie!
Landon ... probably up to something ... or just playing with cars.
Ella, as cute and blond as ever!
And Lily, such a great older sister, just finished Kindergarten!
Among other activities, we visited Burfoot Park.
There were a ton of tiny crabs.
A few little starfish.
A tiny hermit crab.
And A TON of sand dollars!! All of the little dark spots are sand dollars.
We went to a Sounders game! Thanks Dave and Chris! It was so much fun!
The day before we drove home we headed up to Lake Stevens to visit Chris, Danielle, and Noah. We forgot to take pictures. But we had fun playing with Noah and Mitch had fun killing us in Settlers.
It was such a wonderful and relaxing trip!
