We've done a variety of activities this summer. Some just Avery and Mom and others as a whole family. We've enjoyed not having to do yard work every weekend! Avery loves going to parks and swinging.
Avery loves water! But some days have just been way too hot! Even to go to the pool, it's too hot (in my opinion). So we improvised.
On August 22nd we went to the Montgomery County Fair with some new friends. We had a great time and Avery was wonderful. We watched some pigs race, saw a magic show, ate a funnel cake and experienced a typical county fair! There was a huge pig, and three brand new cows, and a bunch of other animals. Avery mostly looked at the animals if she noticed them. Although we did have one incident with a sheep. It got a little too close for Avery's comfort.
On a Saturday a few weeks ago we went to the Air and Space museum at Dulles. It was awesome! There were so many more planes to look at!
