We were lucky this year and Labor Day weekend was an extra holiday for Deloitte. That meant along with Monday off, Mitch also got Friday off, and then he decided to use another vacation day and took Tuesday off too! Five days all together!?!? It was great! Especially since Mitch had been in Dallas the four days before our long weekend. Mostly we enjoyed spending time together and relaxing at home.
Avery watched her first football game! It was one of only a few she'll actually be awake for. So we couldn't miss it and we weren't disappointed. Go Cougs!
We did end up taking a day trip on Tuesday to Annapolis, MD. First we went to the beach and then we walked around town and looked at the boats. It was really hot but fun too! Avery wasn't a huge fan of sitting in the sand and the water coming up. But she loved being held above the waves while we put her legs in!
So long summer ... bring on that wonderful Fall Virginia weather!!
