We LOVE having visitors! Avery and I especially love it during busy season. We were lucky enough to get another visit from my parents the beginning of April.
While Mitch was busy at work, we were busy having fun!
Grandpa had a few days of lobbying in DC, so Grandma, Avery and I went to Frying Pan Park. We played on some toys and saw some animals. Avery also collected rocks.
When Grandpa was done with work we went to the Museum of Natural History. I always love seeing the picture area and Avery had fun pointing out all of the animals she knew. That day we also went to National Harbor but the weather was bad so we didn't stay. But we did do some outlet shopping.
Avery really enjoyed just playing at home with Grandma and Grandpa. She loves them so much! Grandma did Zumba with us too and then Avery tried to teach it to Grandpa.
On Saturday Mitch didn't have to work so we spent the day at Six Flags! Thanks for the season passes!
Avery's first ride was an airplane. She seemed to enjoy it and was ready to get on the next ride but wasn't tall enough. Then it took us a long time to convince her to ride another ride. She eventually enjoyed some train rides and she LOVED the helicopter!
The last day they were here we went to the Zoo. It never gets old seeing the animals! Avery loves it every time. We even got to see the cute baby orangutan.
Thank you so much for coming Grandma and Grandpa!! We loved it so much!
