California Adventure with Grandpa Hague

Early in November I got a random phone call from my mom asking if we would be willing to let the kids stay up late for a free night at Disneyland. Sure why not!?
On November 14th my dad flew in and we took Avery that evening to Midnight Madness at California Adventure thanks to my dad being a Disney Vacation Club member. We were able to leave Eli at home with a babysitter. We got to the park around dinner time and stayed until midnight! Avery was tall enough to do all of the rides except for the IncrediCoaster. She even rode Guardians of the Galaxy! She has so much fun that night! The highlight of her night was at the very end when she got to meet Ariel. They almost didn't let her in line, saying they had closed it. But we stuck around a little and they eventually let her a few a few more people get in line! Thank goodness! She was so happy! I don't usually let my kids stay up late for anything (normally I would say never until midnight!) but this was totally worth it! Thanks Grandpa! (And Grandma for letting him come.)
