Zion National Park

For our final Deloitte party, we drove down to Cedar City and stayed with Becca's (the Deloitte recruiter for BYU) family for a night. Then we drove to Zion National Park and hiked Angels Landing.
Mitch and I didn't exactly know what the hike was like, so it was quite a shock.
But before we hiked, we spent Friday playing Just Dance and singing karaoke. It was SO much fun! I kicked butt on a few dance songs and Mitch belted it out on some classics! We both danced and sang with everyone and we had such a great time!

The next morning they made us french toast and we headed to Zions.
It was a beautiful day, cool in the shade but warm in the sun. The initial hike up to almost the top was great!

But then it started getting a little scary. We were really high, the rock was narrow, and there were a ton of people. Also, there's a chain you can hold on to. We decided it made you more nervous about falling, but most held onto it anyway. Mitch is afraid of heights/falling and was extremely nervous. I, as some know, am like a monkey, so I didn't really mind. Mitch did great though! We all made it all the way to the top and back down! I had to document some of the hard work Mitch did.
Pretty close to the edge! And he looks like he's looking down!
But, he moved forward! These pictures of the chain don't even give credit to other areas. I would not have gotten my camera out at those times though.
Oh, this is what was down there, on both sides. I'm not sure if you can tell how far that actually is!
These are the views from the top! Pretty amazing!
That is Angels Landing behind us! We had so much fun and were grateful to get away for a short trip!
