Birthday Weekend!

I turned 23 on Sunday! We had such a wonderful, funfilled weekend that I'll just say it was all in celebration of my birthday!!
Friday night we had the Deloitte Christmas party. It was the first year in awhile that spouses have been invited so I was happy to go! We got dressed up and enjoyed the night with music, great food, and friends! We were so tired by the time we got home!
The next day started with a visit to the temple! We love being able to go to the temple together. Almost every time we have gone there has been someone going through for the first time. It's been a great reminder to us to continue to go.
After the temple we got a little more Christmas/Birthday shopping done.
Saturday night we went into DC with Amanda and Jason Frost, some friends from our ward. We ate at Good Stuff Eatery, which has amazing burgers and shakes! Then we walked to the National Tree and some other Christmas decorations around. We did a LOT of walking, but it was really fun, and not too cold. The weather has been amazing so far!
This is actually not the National Tree, it's the one in front of the Capitol. I think I like it better though, it had a ton of huge ornaments!
This is the Canadian Embassy for Grandma and Grandpa.
This was just some pretty decorations.
We finally made it to the National Tree!
 and Menorah
There were tons of trains around the tree! It was awesome! And Brayden would have loved it!
Not the best picture, there were really bright lights around.
You can't read the sign, but this is Washington State's tree. All of the ornaments were done by different schools in the states.
I thought it was funny that the tree was totally lop-sided.
 This train is for Brayden!
 Executive office building
And The White House. You can't see in this picture but, on the other side you can see a bunch of trees through the windows. It was really pretty!

On Sunday we celebrated my birthday! We were able to talk to most of our family on Skype. And we celebrated together. Mitch made me a delicious dinner, and my cake. Then he spoiled me with presents. We ended up also going to the DC Temple to look at the Christmas lights. It was such a nice relaxing birthday!

What a great way to spend a birthday!!!
