Thanksgiving

This year we stayed home for Thanksgiving. It was the first time Mitch and I made a turkey and most of the other dishes. We had two other couples come over since we all didn't have family close. It was such a nice break from school and work! And despite our turkey finishing super early, everything tasted great! Mitch and I made the turkey, stuffing, gravy, yam casserole, and corn. We had our friends bring rolls, potatoes, drinks, and desserts. Mitch played football with the ward in the morning, and then we enjoyed a fun filled break!

On Friday Mitch and I went to a movie and did a little bit of shopping. That night a couple in our ward had a bunch of us over for a fire. That was great to meet some other couples in the ward. Then on Saturday we had volleyball with the young women, went to the temple, and the Frost's came over to watch the BYU football game. Even though we didn't get to spend time with any family, we loved our Thanksgiving! We have so much to be thankful for this year!
