Avery and I made a last minute trip to Washington to help watch the Moody girls. Lori had Karisa before we arrived. It worked out really nicely to be there for a week and stay at the house with the kids or drive Lori to the hospital or do anything that needed to be done. It was a little difficult to be completely available having Avery there, I feel like I didn't really help that much. But it was fun to spend some extra time with family and let Avery play with cousins. She had so much fun! We flew into Spokane and spent a day at Cocolalla. We got to see Dallin and Cassie and their girls. Avery went right for the cold lake water and didn't seem to mind completely shivering while she played. Then we drove to Kennewick and spent the rest of the week at Grandma and Grandpa's and Lori's house. Avery loves Grandpa. He had the rare opportunity to hold her on his lap multiple times. She loved when he would walk in and she could go tell him about whatever she doing. We played a lot! Anytime one of her cousins or Grandpa was on the floor she thought it was wrestling time. She would go right to them and start tackling or trying to sit on them. I apologize to her poor cousins, but it was pretty funny! Baby Karisa is such a cutie and we are so happy that she is home now. Our family is so blessed with strong babies that fight and prove they belong with their families!
