New Job

On April 4th, while we were at the beach with Lori's family, Mitch drove up to Newport Beach for a job interview. After we moved to San Diego we were told that the project we had moved there for was not going to happen anymore. We basically moved across the country for no reason. Mitch immediately started looking for a new job. On his drive back from this interview in April he got a phone call from them, and they offered him the job. Mitch met up with us at at the beach and said to me "How do you feel about moving to Orange County? ... in two weeks!" They not only offered him the job, but they wanted him to start on April 22nd! We felt really good about the way things worked out finding the job and everything leading up to it that we had to go for it!
Mitch put in his two weeks notice right away and then started work for LandSea Homes. He commuted from Santee for a few hard weeks. But we all survived and we're really happy with the decision that we made to leave Deloitte and start another new adventure.
