Mitch took a day and a half off and we took a last minute trip to Ocean City, New Jersey. It was cold and rainy the whole time we were there, but we still managed to have fun. We had a lot of recommendations for food and treats and we took advantage! We had some fantastic pasta at Piccini's, great pizza at Manco and Manco, and delicious seafood at Hula Grill. Avery really enjoyed the crab cake!! We couldn't believe how much of that and the ahi tuna she ate one night! We also went to a huge candy store on the boardwalk called Shriver's and got taffy, fudge, and let Avery buy a little bag of candy with change we had in the car. We played on the beach very briefly because it was raining and freezing, we played 10 cent skee ball, and mini golfed at the one indoor course. Despite the bad weather it was so nice to get away from everything as a family and have some fun together. Hopefully we can make it back to a beach soon and actually enjoy the beach part!
