She is so excited and so are we! My due date is October 8th, which currently makes me 23 weeks. We found out when I was only about four and a half weeks and wanted to keep it to ourselves for awhile. We finally told Avery and the rest of our family when I was 13 weeks on Easter. She didn't really understand at first, because she already thinks she's a big sister to her friend Sophia. But she knows Sophia is just a friend and after I brought her to hear the heartbeat she started to catch on more. Then she was convinced it was a girl. After seeing the sonogram she really understood that there was a baby in my tummy and then we got him an outfit right after and she latched on to having a baby brother right away. Mitch and Avery got to be there for the whole sonogram. Mitch had to hurry to the airport right when we were done for a training, but he got to see everything. We got in and told the tech we wanted to know the sex right away. First image was as clear as could be, definitely a boy! We are so happy!
I was really sick for a long time. Never really threw up, but felt nauseous constantly. I was hungry but just the idea of eating or drinking anything made it worse. Which meant initially I lost weight. I was worried so I finally asked my doctor for some medicine. I was taking Declegis for awhile, but now I don't need to take it and have been feeling really good.
We finally took a picture of my bump at 20 weeks. Then a little over a week later we found out the gender and announced it on social media.
