Day 2 - Nebraska to Iowa

Much like day one, there wasn't a whole lot of scenery on day two. There were a lot more corn fields through Nebraska and Iowa. It was pretty, at least prettier than I thought it would be.
We wanted to show a better picture of the car being packed! We're ready for day two!!
In Omaha, NE we stopped at Winter Quarters.
We walked around the really small temple and the cemetery, then we walked through the Visitor's Center.

It was nice to learn more about our church history and the amazing sacrifices the pioneers made.
We are so blessed from their efforts.
In Omaha we stopped at a taco place featured on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives where they have fried tacos. It was pretty good, but not as amazing as we were hoping.
Then we drove to Iowa!

We didn't see more than fields in Iowa. But we drove through a rain storm and got to see a double rainbow!

Oh the midwest and their corn fields! When Forrest and I drive to Wisconsin to see his family I usually fall asleep in those states, lol!
